1. What We Collect

We collect the minimum data needed to operate the service:

• Email address - for account verification and email invites
• Username - displayed to other group members
• Password - stored securely using bcrypt hashing (we cannot read it)
• Predictions - your match score predictions within groups

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the prediction and leaderboard service
• To send account verification and group invite emails
• To display your username and predictions to group members

We do not sell your data, show ads, or share data with third parties for marketing.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored on servers in the EU (Neon PostgreSQL in Frankfurt). All connections use SSL encryption. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and cannot be reversed.

4. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under EU regulations, you have the right to:

• Access - request a copy of your personal data
• Rectification - correct inaccurate data
• Erasure - request deletion of your account and data
• Portability - receive your data in a standard format

5. Cookies

We use essential session cookies for authentication. We do not use analytics cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party cookies.

6. Email Service

We use Resend to send transactional emails (verification, invites). Resend processes your email address solely for delivery purposes under their own privacy policy.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data and predictions are permanently removed.
